The Perfect Time to Learn a New Skill

Do you have too much time on your hands thanks to the corona virus? Or know someone else who does?

Working from home and less time wasted commuting? Has your job shut down all together? Many people are finding themselves with more free time on their hands right now. Rather than sit around and complain or let worry overtake you, this is the perfect time to learn a new skill.

Wait you want me to stay at home and sit on my couch?

The Perfect Time to Learn a New Skill

This is literally the easiest time to do something good.

Literally, this is a time when doing nothing is the best possible thing you can do. Often we hear about disasters that happen across the world. We stop and wonder what we can do to help. Right now, you can have a huge impact in your community and save others from facing the corona virus.

Just stay home.

Literally, by doing nothing, you can be the difference.

You aren’t staying home to protect yourself. You are doing it to be the break in the chain. The self quarantine has been initiated for the same reason you are asked to get a flu shot – for the protection of others. So, if you have one ounce of empathy for your fellow humans, do the right thing and stay home. Use the time to learn a new skill.

Learn to Knit

If you have wanted to pick up knitting, which is more post apocalyptic life skill than hobby, grab some needles! If you think you can’t learn at home by yourself, you’re darn wrong. In fact, I learned through YouTube videos. If I can do it – you can too.

If you are new to knitting or know someone who is – I’m happy to help. Send me an email and we can chat about this passion. Check out my YouTube channel for some visual help.

Sales!

Right now stores are hurting for your business. So if you are in need of supplies, you’re in luck! If you’re not sure what to get, reach out and get in touch with me. I’ll glad you give you my thoughts and a few different options based on what I’ve come to know and love.

Virtual Knitting Sessions

Would anyone be interested in a virtual knitting circle or happy hour? I’m thinking of facilitating a few. We could get to know each other better and share our passion for knitting, along with what everyone is going through. Right. now we might be isolating ourselves physically but that doesn’t mean we have to be alone.
