The knitter in me can feel the deadlines looming already. Can you believe we are 100 days out from Christmas and the myriad of events in between now and then? Disclaimer, I say Christmas in this post because that is what my family celebrates, but that is not to exclude my friends from different traditions like Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.
So it’s time to start planning your gifts. I’ve put together a tracker and posted it for free here to help keep your organize as you make your gifts this year. It is designed for knitting but works for any craft or hobby really!

Parties are fun but they require a lot of work to host. My mom always taught me never to show up anywhere empty handed. It’s something that I take to heart. When a person opens their home to you, it’s good to show that you appreciate it. We pair one of our favorite bottles of wine with a cute wine bottle sweater a lot of times. They’re fun and pretty easy to knit. You can whip them up if you have a few days notice of a party.
Holiday Decor:
When it’s not a party but you still need a gift, it’s fun to have something seasonal to make! I love making ornaments because it’s like a special hug every year when your intended recipient unpacks them. These little holiday wreaths are fast and fun!
Christmas Tree shaped pillows are adorable too. And these in a neutral color will work with anyone’s decor. They’re really fun to make, and they are so unique that they will be adored.
