Knitting in the Park Tries Zoya Nail Polish

Zoya Nail Polish is Totally Knitworthy

As a new knitting YouTuber, my nails are getting a lot more attention.

One thing that I did not think about when I started a knitting YouTube channel was my chipped nail polish. Most often, when recording a video tutorial, I’ll take whatever is on my nails off. I’m not vain when it comes to makeup and beauty products but I do enjoy freshly painted nails. But not all nail polish holds up, and most is downright toxic. I found that Zoya Nail Polish it most definitely knitworthy. You can learn more on their site here.

In my day job as the Marketing Manager for Gurus, I’m putting together a giveaway. One of the participants is an awesome nail polish line (they make much more though so go check them out!), called Zoya. I got to try out the nail polish as part of the giveaway and I am in love. I’ve tried it for over week straight, including beach and pool days.

What’s so great about Zoya other than it holds up to knitting binges? This brand has found a way to cut out the top ten harmful chemicals found in other nail polishes, and still create a product that lasts.

Here’s a video review of Zoya Nail Polish

The colors in this video are from Zoya’s new barefoot line. There’s two sets in this line but you can also buy individual colors for about $10 from their website. It looks like they are on Amazon as well. If you think about it, brands like OPI run around $6-$7 and don’t offer a chemical free alternative like Zoya.

Also, I tried these colors without a base coat or top coat, to get a true test of what they’re like.

I wore Zoya’s Marcy to the beach:

Murphy thought the box was a bark box and got really excited to help me open it.

Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying
your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything.
Do you have any tips and hints for newbie blog writers?
    I’d certainly appreciate it.

I’m so sorry to hear that your first comment didn’t go through. I’m glad that you’re enjoying the blog. As for tips, I think you need to do a bit of soul searching and determine about which you are passionate and want to share. Then think about branding, what would the blog be called? What would your mission statement be if you had one? Each blog should have some overall topics and some subtopics or categories, these can grow over time but it’s helpful to think about up front to help you plan and generate content.
