Yarn Crush, the box.

I tried Yarn Crush and well, they crushed it!

Yarn boxes or yarn box subscriptions aren’t exactly new, but they’re new to me. I love the experience of shopping for yarn. So when it came to being surprised with a new bit every month, I was a bit leery.

So instead of being brave and trying one, I’ve creeped on a few boxes to see what they offer and man did it pay off. One of the boxes I’ve fallen for recently is Yarn Crush. Their boxes are bursting with bright colors, great yarns and fun little notions. This month, I reached out to Yarn Crush and they sent me a box to try out.

And if you were paying attention to the title and subtitle of this blog post, you have some idea of what I’m going to say.

Yup! They crushed it.

Here’s my unboxing video if you’d rather watch than read.

I really love the yarn that they included. It was two hanks of Log House Cottage Yarns, in 100% superwash merino. It’s 400 yards of a gorgeous hand dyed worsted weight yarn. I’m in love. I actually couldn’t fall asleep last night because I was trying to think of what I wanted to make with it. To help you out, Yarn Crush includes their Yarniverse issue for the month. This little insert features knitting crochet patterns that feature this yarn. It’s also got some other goodies and discounts.

After this Yarn Crush box, I’m a convert.

  • It’s over $40 in yarn,
  • At least 6 patterns, both knit and crochet so there is something for everyone.
  • Discovering a new favorite yarn and dyer!
  • Discounts
  • Sneak peaks and other exclusives.
