Volunteer for the Andalusian Baby Blanket

Call for test knitters to help test is now closed

Update: The call for testers is now closed and the pattern Has Been Released.

With the recent success, and pattern errors from the Double Seed Stitch Baby Blanket I’ve made the decision to ask for volunteers to help test this pattern. The Andalusian Baby Blanket is very similar to the Double Seed Stitch Baby Blanket. It offers an option to knit this new pattern with the double seed stitch border which makes the namesake pattern so popular.

In addition to the double seed stitch border, the Andalusian Baby blanket also offers the option of knitting a garter stitch border. Either of these are followed by an internal section or border of stockinette before the heart of the blanket which features the Andalusian knit stitch – which is a favorite of mine.

Yarn for the Andalusian Baby Blanket:

Once again, I’ve gone to my favorite for baby blankets, Premier Anti-Pilling yarn. It’s soft. It’s washable. The fuzz washes right off which means there is no pilling with this yarn. I’m choosing to knit this blanket in a grey and white marled yarn. And it’s beautiful!

I will not be able to provide yarn support for this test knit but am really working on being able to do so in the not too distant future.

If you volunteer to knit this pattern with me, you can choose any of the worsted anti-pilling yarns from Premier. You’ll need about 800-850 yards which is approximately four skeins.
