Andalusian Washcloth

A simple washcloth knitting pattern. This pattern uses the simple yet beautiful Andalusian knit stitch. The Andalusian knit stitch is very similar to stockinette but uses strategically placed purls on the right side of the pattern to create rows of bumps.

This stitch is perfect for a washcloth, as the texture might give it a little boost in scrubbing power. Regardless of how functional this pattern is (it is very by the way), it’s a pretty addition to your countertop or kitchen sink.

I love the way this looks near my farmhouse kitchen sink. While not the same colors, the natural color that I chose in this yarn is beautiful!

In a previous post, I began exploring different washcloth or dishcloth patterns and they were pretty well received. I’m planning on offering some more in the not too distant future as well.
