The Avery Hat Knitting Pattern

Releasing the Avery Hat, a special knitting pattern today with simple diamond cables and a faux fur pompom

This hat has quickly become one of my favorites. It’s not hard to see why. Simple diamond cables give this hat a complex and beautiful look. The faux fur pompom not only makes it fit the popular trend but it “levels up” the look a bit. Combine that with instructions on how to make a removable faux fur pompom and the Avery Hat pattern is packed with great instructions.

As with all of my patterns, you’ll find completely written out instructions with abbreviations and skills broken down. Maybe sometime in the future I’ll learn how to add charts, but for now I love these downloadable patterns just the way they are.

About The Avery Hat

Named after one of my adorable nieces that has a style and opinion all her own, the Avery Hat is knock out. This easy to knit hat pattern offers knitters of all skill levels a beautiful piece and a great skill to have in their quiver of stitches.

The Avery was inspired by my last hat, the Diamond Cable Hat pattern. This offers a chunkier version of the diamond cable. While I love the Diamond Cable Hat, I wanted something that was a bit more delicate. Or maybe it’s a bit more refined. Either way I’m head over heels for the result.

The yarn I’ve chosen for this version of the hat is: Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice. You can use any worsted weight yarn in your stash or that you’ve had your eye on.

I’ll definitely be making more of these gorgeous hats – for myself, and for Christmas Presents. It takes me only about 1 day or 6-8 hours to knit up this hat.

You can purchase the pattern here on Ravelry.
