Description

The Bramble Berry Is Everything You Need in a Baby Blanket

When you’re knitting a gift for a new little bundle of joy, you need it to possess certain qualities. It needs to be soft. That is priority number one with baby’s sensitive skin. Next, it needs to be functional. A lacy blanket isn’t going to keep a baby warm in a stroller on a brisk walk. And lastly, it’s fun. Baby’s love to play with different shapes and textures, and the Bramble Berry Baby Blanket has it in spades.

Yarn for the Bramble Berry:

This blanket is designed to use between an aran and a worsted weight yarn. If you’re not used to or familiar with aran weight yarns, they’re sometimes referred to as a heavy worsted. This means they’re a bit thicker or more robust than your average worsted weight. I’ve knitted it using Paintbox Yarns Aran weight but you could also easily whip this up in something from Lion Brand, Premier, etc.

Paintbox offers their yarn in fun colors and bulk/variety packs which makes yarn shopping fun, fast, and simple.
