Update to the Cora Cowl Pattern

Fixing a Slight Typo in the Original Cora Cowl Pattern

The simple yet sweet Cora Cowl, which is perfect for Fall, had a minor typo in the pattern. When it was originally released, in Section A of the pattern the instructions “P8” should read “P7”.

Since this typo is so minor, it can simply be corrected by marking your original pattern. But if you don’t yet have this easy to follow pattern for the perfect neck warmer or scarf, you can get it here.

I’m currently kitting this pattern again because I love its simplicity combined with the sweet chevrons. The Cora Cowl uses knit and purl stitches in various combinations to form a chevron or zigzag texture. This texture looks great in solids or variated yarns. I’m currently using a yarn with a cream base and muted earthy speckles to it.

Update to the Cora Cowl Pattern

When you first start knitting this pattern, the rows might bunch or gather a bit. A single wash and laying the Cora Cowl flat to try should solve this. You’ll also notice it start to stretch out as your project gains a bit of length and therefore, weight.

This cowl is knit in a tubular shape and is perfect for a spare pair of hat needles! The simplicity makes it great for netflix binges or movie marathons as well.
