Bramble Berry Blanket Update

Good Afternoon everyone! I’ve recently published the Bramble Berry Blanket Update and I want to share more about this edit with you. This blanket is intended for babies and makes a great gift. If you can add or subtract multiples of 10 stitches and 8 rows then you can easily modify the size and shape to fit other applications.

What’s Included in the Bramble Berry Blanket Update?

I haven’t publicized this blanket that much until now, so if you are just seeing it for the first time, you aren’t alone. The original didn’t get much press, because I knew this update was coming. Essentially, I knitted the bobbles in the first version too close together. It used too much yarn and the resulting blanket looked a bit too busy or crowded. So, in this version I spaced them out a bit. And the result looks really nice.

Why Bobbles in a Baby Blanket?

Aside from look and feel, and this blanket looks adorable, babies love a good bobble. My little one loved playing with the soft and squishy bobbles while I knitted this blanket. It was too cute. There’s a pretty solid chance that any littles in your life, whether they’re already here or a twinkle in a mother’s eye, will love them too.

Where Can I get the Blanket Pattern?

Want to Get the Pattern Free?

That’s an even better question! I’m looking for a few knitters to test this blanket in some different colors. Email me at maggie (at symbol) knittinginthepark (dot) com and we can chat about this opportunity!
